As a parent I am always challenged in how do I navigate the change from being an authority in my children's life to becoming an influence. Because the fact is as they grow older they are not going to do or want to do everything I say. I know that and I am confronted with the challenge of influence and how do I gain that in Nate, Alissa and Andrew's life. Last I looked there are no handbooks or instructions that come with Kids so I must do all I can to find resources that can help me with this. Well here is one, its called Table Topics. The virtue packs are great for your kids when they are younger but with a teenager trying to leverage the dinner time with those was difficult but these can supplement that resource and provide a solid opportunity to talk and build consensus on subjects that can be leveraged to teach and guide.
